We are who we are and we only have ourselves to give at the end of the day. ANNEGA talks about how music, once again, navigated her through heartbreak and her learnings from the experience with a talk and an original song performance prepared especially for TEDxPlainesWilhems. ANNEGA, short for ANNE-GAËLLE, is the island girl. An artist who owes her success to a unique, refreshing and out-going personality. Referred to as “The Mauritian Pop Star” she has conquered the hearts of many with her debut album ‘REMEMBER ME’ which gathers some of our favourite tunes to date namely, Remember Me, Nou Ale and Nou ti Zil. ANNEGA is also known for her creative and inspiring music videos like Sweet While, Nou Ale and Home which showcase the beauty and richness of her island, Mauritius. She tells us a story – hers – on a pop/world rhythm, which we can easily connect to, making her songs ever more special and unique.
