Beneath the cold Nordic surface, the final phase of the PADI Deep Diver course begins. A 40-meter dive, a leaking drysuit, and a real training scenario that didn’t go as planned. This video completes the PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course, covering Dive 3 and Dive 4, with the course objective reached on the 40-meter deep dive — the maximum depth for the course and the recreational diving limit. Along the way, we conduct a guided dive along the wall crack — a controlled descent following the natural structure of the site. Not everything goes as planned. During the dive, a student becomes aware of an equipment issue but does not immediately communicate it to the instructor or divemaster. The situation is fully identified after surfacing — a realistic example of how communication and awareness play a critical role in real-world training. This course holds special meaning as it marks the final deep dive course ever conducted by Halden Dykkersenter, closing a chapter after 30 years of diver education. All scenarios shown are part of a certified, instructor-led training course.
