Emotion Johnny Mathis & Deniece Williams V Bee Gees

Following up the huge international hit 'Emotion' by Samantha Sang, there was a flip side recording of the song by crooner Johnny Mathis and the 'it' girl of 1977 Deniece Williams for their smash hit single 'Too Much Too Little Too Late'. I have also included in this post the version of the song by its composers The Bee Gees. According to Wikipedia, the Brothers Gibb recorded their version in 1994 for an album called 'Love Songs', but finally saw the light of day in 2001 on 'Their Greatest Hits: The Record' CD. Johnny Mathis had a spectacular comeback on the pop charts with his aforementioned 1978 hit, and has amazingly continued to record through all the decades since. Deniece Williams is best known for her '77 hit 'Free' and the 1984 Footloose hit 'Let's hear it for the boy'. They made great collaborators and Mathis ended up dueting with a number of prominent vocalists on various projects and albums. More to follow from me on the great Johnny Mathis. Enjoy more Emotion!
