International Festival of Nations 2025 at BSS

Community, togetherness, diversity: values we believe in and celebrate during the International Festival of Nations at the British School of Sofia. This year’s edition of the festival brought together representatives of over 35 nations who proudly showcased their traditions, culture, culinary heritage, and national identity. Members of the BSS community and guests got together to have fun, enjoy an insightful conversation, try some new, delicious food, and witness the numerous authentic performances that graced the stage. We marvelled at the intricacy of national folk dances, we experienced the mesmerising sound of bagpipes, and the purity of traditional songs passed down from one generation to the next, and performed by our students. The International Festival is an established tradition that BSS hosts for the third time. It’s inspired by the diverse and colourful community that turns the British School of Sofia into such a unique educational institution.
