Multiple West Allis police officers fired at a man believed to be armed with at least one knife, killing him Thursday morning, police said. The man was about 36 years old, officials said during a press briefing on Thursday. Police said it started around 6:36 a.m. near 71st and Greenfield in West Allis. Officers responded to a call of family trouble. At the scene, officers encountered an adult armed with at least one knife.
