RV camping at Custer State Park in South Dakota with buffalo (actually American Bison) everywhere was truly a dream come true! We camped at the Game Lodge Campground in Custer State Park with electric hookups, water station to fill fresh water tank, dump station, nice bathrooms w/ clean showers and daily visits from roaming buffalo. This park is close to Mt Rushmore, Wind Cave Nat'l Park and other nearby attractions. Custer State Park has lots of trails, restaurants and shops. Campfires are permitted. This is state park camping at it's finest.
