Speedway Roadtrip Down Under: Albury Wodonga, Diamond Park. Aussie Speedway Championships venue

New mini series heading down under! Please subscribe so you don't miss them! There are road trips, and then there are road trips to the other side of the world..! This time heading down under to the 2026 Aussie Championships, starting at the Albury/Wodonga Diamond Park track. This is a border down, hence the split name, where the state of New South Wales ends, and Victoria begins, and vice versa. A really interesting venue, speedway being a relatively recent addition, but a busy facility also hosting Moto x, Flat Track, dirt bikes and much more. The track having a unique extension which allows the speedway track to form part of a much larger circuit for other bikes races. Albury was the host venue for the first 2 rounds of the championships in 2026 (due to other tracks not being able to support a round) and it's a really great place to enjoy some speedway. I feel too that there's plenty tracks in the UK could learn in terms of a facility which runs many different bike events, even sharing the same track, meaning racing happens there a few days a week, every week.
