Il cinese Xiang Guo nasce a Shandong nel 1994 e inizia a studiare la tromba all'età di dieci anni. Si perfeziona con il maestro Zhu Guang a Pechino. Nel 2012 vince il terzo premio al Concorso Internazionale per tromba di Lieksa (Finlandia) e nel 2015 è vincitore del primo premio al 26° Concorso Internazionale “Trumpet Talents” di Tallinn. Dopo aver studiato con il maestro Pasi Pirinen al Conservatorio di Helsinki continua i suoi studi con il maestro Hannes Läubin alla Scuola Superiore di Musica e Teatro di Monaco. Dal 2017 suona con la Finnish National Opera ed è membro del Helter Brass Ensemble. The Chinese Xiang Guo was born in Shandong in 1994 and he started his trumpet career when he was 10. He studied with Zhu Guang in Beijing. He won the third prize at the Lieksa International Trumpet Competition (Finland) in 2012 and he was the first prize winner of the 26th “Trumpet Talents” Tallinn International Trumpet Competition in 2015. After studying with Prof. Pasi Pirinen in the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki he continued his studies in the Hochschule für Musik and Theater in Munich with Hannes Läubin. He has performed with the Finnish National Opera since 2007 and he is a member of the Helter Brass Ensemble.
