Plug the unit in and set the time using the hr/min buttons. Turn the dial to select the hour and press start brew for the minutes. Turn the dial to set the minutes. Then press start brew to set the time. The control panel will give you all the size options for the pod side and carafe side. There are 4 brew styles, classic, rich, you‘ll get a few ounces less coffee with rich setting, over ice or specialty. Specialty brew will give you 4 oz of concentrated coffee to make lattes, cappuccinos etc. This is not an espresso maker, it’ll give you very strong coffee for specialty drinks. The sizes and differences with each style is listed in the manual which you probably don’t want to read because it’s 23 pages. Don’t worry, I’ll tell you everything you need to know. There is an independent hot water system that you can use to make a cup of tea or oatmeal. Hot and Boil are the two temperatures you can choose from. The frother folds away, the whisk can be removed for cleaning. Froth hot or cold milk, dairy or non dairy milk. It won’t heat milk, you have to heat up the milk before frothing. First clean the coffee maker. Add water to the reservoir full line. Remove the adapter and lift out. Slide the lid over the brew basket. Put the carafe on the plate. Turn the dial and choose full carafe, press brew style, select classic. Press the start brew button. Discard the water. All the accessories are dishwasher safe or hand wash. To clean, all the removable parts are dishwasher safe except for the sliding lid and pod adapter. The pod adapter can be pulled out and the whisk is removable. I hope you enjoyed this review.
