Join Michelle in crafting a living spring wreath. SUPPLIES NEEDED: 12” wire wreath form Planter box mix soil Sphagnum moss (presoaked) Black landscape fabric Waxed string / jute Assorted small annuals (baskets stuffers) Curly willow stems STEPS: 1. Presoak the sphagnum moss and lay on a flat surface. 2. Lay wire wreath frame on the moss 3. Line the wreath frame with black landscape fabric 4. Attached the waxed string/jute onto the wreath frame and tie in a knot. You will tie all the materials together once all the plants have been planted. 5. Line the wreath frame with a small amount of planter box mix. 6. Lay your plants out and get started planting. 7. Once all the plants are in the wreath frame use the waxed string/jute and wrap it around the frame holding everything in together. When you get to the end tie the waxed string/jute off. 8. For some interest add in a few stems of curly willow branches. Just tuck them into the moss in the wreath frame. For care of your living wreath, make sure to water regularly. Lay it down on run the hose or watering can over the wreath. Another option is to lay the wreath in a saucer filled with water so it can absorb all the water. Now sit back and enjoy watching it grow!
