Both tvs are great in their own ways. Whitebalance should be close to equal on both since both has whites from the KRP 500A. still the C1 shows an more blueish image here and we all know why it does it now or? The white subpixel adds more Blue energy to the picture. Irl when watching these two you see the Blue energy less, the camera sensor picks up more of it. Picture mode on the QN95A is Movie mode Picture mode on the C1 is the Cinema User mode. APL is close to correct on both but why the QN95A looks brighter here on this Tokyo walk with all its neon signs and lamps comes from 1580 Nits of peakbrightness on the QN95A compared to 700 Nits on the C1. Max Color luminance on the QN95A with its RGB pixels also adds more pop to the image. The Neon signs glows much more on the QN95A. i will try to list Pros and Cons here. HDR Impact Goes to: QN95A with its 1580 Nits and full color lumminace makes the image pop in another level here. Contrast Goes to: LG C1 The QN95A is up there to around 80% of the C1s contrast in HDR. its easy to see when the picture gets darker. slight more washed out image on the QN95A Crispness/Sharpness Goes to: LG C1 with no blooming and max lightcontrol from the individually lit pixels the image becomes super sharp. slight more fussy image on the QN95A. Motion goes to: LG C1 i dont know what trix they have added but motion has much better flow to it than compared to previous OLEDs i have tested. gone is that typical sluggish feeling you got from OLEDs before. QN95A also have great motion but slight behind the C1 here. Custom Motion Flow is used on the C1 to get higher motion resolution. De Blur De Judder is set to 1. If i should pick one tv to watch HDR in a dark room i would pick the C1. brightness is enough already and the picture is more pleasing to watch. super crisp and with great motion what more do you want. For bright room the QN95A gives more pop in the image. See this also as an indication of what the new QD OLED will give in HDR. It will have the same pop and brightness from the QN95A here while having max luminance control with no blooming and 0 blacks. its like combining the best from these two tvs into one. but then the price will probably be the same as these two costs together ;) btw the word "slight" means tiny. the differences between these two tvs are not night and day. its small differences here and there.
