Hi & Welcome, My name is Davoud Gerami and I am the director of Age of Iron; a feature-length film that takes viewers on a journey through Asia in its poetic critique of global capitalism, dissecting the system's inherent byproducts along the way: exploitation of the masses in the political South and alienation of the masses in the affluent North. I have decided to make my film available to the public free of charge. Age of Iron was made over the course of almost two years of traveling in Asia with a very low budget. It is an absolutely independent production. We have received not a single cent from any public or private organization for this film. We prefer to work this way and safeguard both our integrity, and our freedom.
