Scuderia AlphaTauri | Top driver performances thanks to digital transformation

#simcentercustomerstories Formula 1 teams around the world had the challenge of redesigning the 2022 F1 car according to new F1 regulations. Like other teams, the engineers and designers from Scuderia AlphaTauri wanted to develop the safest, most lightweight and best performing vehicle. This included customizing the seat for each driver to enhance performance. The team down in Faenza, Italy counted on Siemens solutions, like NX, Simcenter and Fibersim, to complete a fast design turnaround -- reducing chassis development time from three months to an impressive one month. Thanks to Siemens CAD and CAE tools, the Scuderia AlphaTauri team create a comprehensive digital twin with an integrated a smart seat design process including customized fit, visibility and safety studies. All this hard work resulted in a top-performing car ready for F1 circuits around the world. Please note this movie was shot in December 2021.
