This 2013 Third Gen (NC) MX-5 Miata is an inexpensive, lightweight and nimble little roadster that's an absolute joy to drive with the top down or up. This being my first ever experience with a Miata, I wasn't sure what to expect. This car is an important part of history, and has a loyal cult following, but the 3rd Gen, NC model is sort of the odd man out among enthusiasts. Well purists be damned, because this thing won my heart. It's enthusiastic, it's giving, it's vibrant. It may not have the refinement of a BMW Z4, Mercedes-Benz SLK 250, but it also doesn't come with their pricetags. It's cheap, reliable, and a go getter. It will put a smile on the face of anyone who gets behind the wheel, just as it did mine. I may have even shed a tear.... Marvelous little car.
