【Music】No Matter What (2020) [ft. Namii & Sylver Stripe]

On this day, eight years ago, I released my first song ever. The narrative was inspired by MLP’s season 3 episode “The Crystal Empire Pt. 2”, after seeing Spike break down emotionally over the vision that the mirror had shown him. That brief moment left me broken up and so I wrote the song that embraces the friendship between Twilight and Spike to combat the thought of them being separated. Now it’s become tradition to remake the song every year. After experimenting with the song a lot, I decided I wanted to return to the original 2012 version’s essence and see how I could approach the it with new perspectives and 8 years more of experience. This is the result of that! (P.S; the “Faithful Mix”, available in the Bandcamp release, is the original 2012 version of the song remade as faithfully as possible.
