Black 5 44871 and the Midland Pullman 57315 around Carlisle 11 May 24 Filmed at : Wreay, WCML south of Carlisle Upperby and London Road Junction, Carlisle Citadel Station, Carlisle and Denton School Crossing between Brampton and Haltwhistle on the Newcastle & Carlisle line. Focus is on West Coast Railway / Railway Touring Company's Cumbrian Mountain Express from London hauled by 44871 with 57315 providing backup. Out along the WCML and return via Settle and Locomotive Services Midland Pullman HST unit with the Settle to Carlisle and Tyne Valley Pullman from St Albans. Out on the Settle & Carlisle line and back via the Tyne Valley linee, bypassing Newcastle! Various other trains seen along the way! You can see the Pendolinos tilt and straighten up again at Wreay!
