Twin Lake is not a recommended place for beginner. First, normally we find coves and points to start, but these lakes are super rounded, so you don't know for sure where they will be grouped. Second, the vegetation in these ponds are just second to none of others, there's sooo much more than other water, and that makes it very difficult to cast and pull out fish. This is the first video I filmed with my caster combo, I think the DC definitely helped the smooth transition. I was able to pull out 3 lb fish out of weeds quickly, never worry about breakups, it was a huge surprise for me. Overall I do like this combo, but I still prefer medium rod better than the MH. It's just because most of my lures are not that heavy and medium power will definitely send my worm far beyond. So I just ordered one, we will see how it works compare to the MH. Stay tuned!
