Another crazy contrived climate change scheme. At the last round of estimates I asked the CSIRO for the advice they gave to the Queensland government about pumping billions of litres of CO2 into the Great Artesian Basin. Needless to say, despite the taxpayers funding the advice, the government refuses to disclose the impact it on the GAB from putting CO2 into it. To be frank the advice isn’t needed. It’s completely pointless to stick CO2 into our water supply when the trees and grass can quite easily convert the CO2 into O2 for free.
