Challenge Mode Chambers of Xeric is genuinely one of the toughest pieces of content in the game, and I had never bothered learning it until recently! I’ve been speedrunning CMs on twitch and doing so required learning tons of different strategies, which was a lot of fun! They aren’t the best for money, and there’s typically a moment in every single raid I do where I want to smash something, but learning from mistakes and improving slowly over time is one of my favorite things to do in this game. Most of the skill in challenge mode is actually preparing for the following room and keeping your inventory and banking under control, which is a skill that isn’t used too much in the other raids. The rooms that required the most learning were vanguards, vasa and olm.
