These three stations are on the Brighton Main Line, a line which not serves so many trains that they come near quaduruple digits if every single train on the main line counted, but they're also on the most congested part on the line, leading a good chunk of the trains to slow down on the lines. For Purley Oaks, it is not as noticeable, as there's only four tracks at this station and enough space for the slow trains to stop at the station and the fast train to be able pass right on through and it has been a station for a long time. For Anerley, which also has fast tracks, more ofter than not at rush hour, the fast tracks usually get backed up by trains that are either changing tracks and the slow tracks have the same issue, only less accentuated. For South Croydon, because one of its five tracks just turns to the Oxted Line just south of the station and the fact that both down slow lines crossover, makes all sorts of trains slow down and stop on both down slow lines. Never mind the up line, which has to deal with Oxted Line services, semi-fast and fast services that come from Redhill and slow services that come from Caterham and Tattenham Corner. Overall, it's definitely the right time to be making this video, as there's a lot of trains at these trains, especially the fast one, which come and go faster than a lot of other trains do: By the way: There are many Class 377/6 trains, which still appear a lot, but not compared to its older brothers, mostly dealing with Caterham and Tattenham Corner services. There are even more old Class 377 trains, which both appear on the fast line and the slow line at a very frequent pace, being used in many services. There are quite a few Class 387 trains, which only appeared on the fast line, due to being with Gatwick Express. There is also a few Class 455 trains, which only appeared on the slow lines as services to Caterham and Tattenham Corner. There is a few Class 171 trains, which only goes to Uckfield and does not stop at this station. And finally, there's a notable of Class 700 trains, also both on the slow lines and the fast lines, coming to destinations such as Bedford, Gatwick Airport, East Grinstead, Horsham, Peterborough and other such places! Either way, this has been this week's video, so you can subscribe and like for more videos like this one, which are coming in the future.
