Sunburst Falls and Triple Falls Gorgeous Fall Colors 2025

Headed up to capture some North Carolina Waterfalls on this beautiful fall day. On the way up the mountains looked so beautiful where the white water rafters play on the Upper Pigeon River, in Hartford Tennessee, so I did an impromptu flight and it was well worth it as those are my opening shots for this video. Next stop was the beautiful Sunburst Falls along the scenic Lake Logan Road. Unfortunately NC is ahead of Tennessee with the peak fall so I just missed it by a few days. But this being my first time at this waterfall I really enjoyed the ride and checking it out up close. Next stop was DuPont State Recreational Park, about an hour ride from Sunburst Falls. But first I had to stop along the way at an overlook to capture some beautiful views of the mountains. The hike to Triple Falls is a bit strenuous with my heavy backpack, up a steep hill for about 3/4 mile. The stair case to the middle of the falls was destroyed from Hurricane Helene so sadly couldn't walk on the rocks between the first two waterfalls. My last hike was to HighFalls in the same park, which was such a beautiful sight to see. I will be doing a separate video for that waterfall. So stay tuned...
