This is the brutally honest truth of why I abandoned my channel for over SEVEN months. It's a story of burnout, illness, work, possible depression and a traumatic personal situation. I'm returning to playing guitar after a 20+ year absence, so I'm no virtuoso. (My fingers & brain don't work like they did in my teens / twenties!) I am in essence not very far from a beginner. The challenger said that if I recorded it then they would record themselves singing over it. This kick-started my 2022 drive to not only re-learn the guitar, but improve on my 'skills' from my 20's, finally conquer the instrument, and start the "Guitars Are Hard" YouTube channel to share my experiences and knowledge with others.
