Part 1 of my Long Live Lemmings! LP. Solved the entire Fun rank, and just like the Fun rank of Yippee! More Lemmings, this rank isn't easy either. There are some reasons for this, the most prominent one being that the slider is a very recent new addition to NL, and I haven't played any slider levels since the experimentals, which was almost a year ago I think, and so I still need to get used to the skill. I also need to familiarize myself with the mechanics of the skill more. However, I was always in favor of the slider being included in NL, so it's fine with me. The other is how Niesch has the uncanny ability to make deceivingly challenging levels. Hard levels are the kind I don't mind, as these are the types of levels I prefer playing and solving, especially if it's the very good kind of difficult. Fun 1 is a really nice level to start off the pack. Nothing too hard about it other than the very precise stacker and digger placements. Honestly, I would allow more leeway with the platformer placement, as you can only get across by doing it at the very extreme edge. Fun 2 was one of my favorites despite stumping me for a time! =) I especially like how it's a 1-of-everything in 6 skill types. I think I forgot about being able to assign a climber to the slider, hence why I struggled a bit. That's just a really good shimmying section along the bottom of the bar and using the underside of the builder staircase to get to the exit. Well done here! Fun 3 wasn't as hard as I thought, I simply kept overthinking it. I didn't even think my successful solution would work, as it definitely seemed that I would run out of skills. I wonder if the digger cancelling another digger is intended, though. It's precise but it can be done. Love how it's a 2-of-everything. Fun 4 is another level featuring the slider, but you have way more, 10. Once again, still need to get used to it. Nice level demonstrating that you can use sliders to survive an otherwise fatal fall. Need to assign sliders until the splatform is ready for the normal fallers. Also, you need to be careful about when you assign the sliders, because assign them at the wrong time, and they will use other previously built staircases in other parts of the level when you don't want them to. Took some time to get the placements correct in the middle area, as well as to see to platform up the gap at the bottom. Fun 5 isn't a very hard one either, but don't be fooled by the huge amount of jumpers. At least in my solution, they're all used. It's really a simple matter of finding the right path to take with them so that you get the level solved. Nice wordplay in the title and reference to the OL level ;) Fun 6 seems to be an open-ended X-of-everything to finish off the Fun rank. It's not too terribly hard. I was attempting to release both blockers at the very beginning by bombing a lemming trapped between them, but I unfortunately had some going out the wrong way. I think it involves the RR being an odd number or something, but I don't remember. Also, I got taken by surprise by the very fast triggering electrical orb trap. I didn't expect the second lemming to get zapped too at a 99 RR. Easily solved with a floater, though. 6 levels in and I'm enjoying the pack so far! =) 0:00 - Introduction 7:58 - Fun 1 12:51 - Fun 2 22:29 - Fun 3 28:23 - Fun 4 40:47 - Fun 5 49:57 - Fun 6
