Trying Korea's BEST HANWOO BEEF at Majang Meat Market 馬場洞 | Seoul Korea Seoul, Korea - Have you ever tried Hanwoo Korean Beef? I heard that some people like it more than Wagyu Japanese Beef. I’ve never tried Hanwoo before, so I had to go to Majang Meat Market to try some of the best cuts of Hanwoo and see if this beef is as good as Wagyu. At the Majang Meat Market (마장축산물시장), you get a chance to see a lot of different cuts of beef. Also, you get a chance to speak to the butchers who cut the meat and can help you better understand what cuts are to your taste. We got the special strip loin and ribeye shrimp cut steaks. All I can say is, “WOW”. I was blown away at how juicy and beefy the meat was. If you are a big fan of ribeye steak, you will absolutely love this Hanwoo. I’ve had both wagyu and hanwoo, and I have to say that both meats are super juicy and tender. The main difference I feel is that hanwoo has a more beef flavor, like that of an angus steak in the US. If you want to try an amazing steak experience, try Hanwoo. This could be one of the best dining experiences of your life!
