Today's video explores the Japan's Raw Denim brand that I know of, as it has only just opened up this year in 2025, and I am excited to see what this brand in particular brings to the world of heritage style, menswear and the overall scope of selvedge denim jeans! The raw denim brand in question is Omoto raw denim, which is a brand that has an interesting history already, despite the fact that it only just recently opened it's doors on Kojima Jeans Street! Omoto denim was founded by a friend of mine, Hiroki Kishimoto-san, who was also the founder of Japan Blue Jeans, another selvedge denim jeans brand that has a lot of renown. However, it seems that Omoto denim is Kishimoto-san's brainchild, and is a culmination of over 30 years in the making when it comes to artisanal raw denim jeans crafting. These jeans are truly something special, and albeit expertly refined as well.
