Raichu has the ability Lightning Rod which draws in Electric-Type attacks into itself then raises its Sp. ATK stat by one stage. Much like Gastrodons Storm Drain ability but with Electric-Type attacks instead of Water-Type attacks. This Pokemon has great synergy with Gyarados and Charizard covering those glaring weaknesses. Raichu also has a great move pool for support and damage. It has access to Fake Out, Nuzzle, and Brick Break to make this Pokemon hard to deal with. It also has Volt Switch, Thunderbolt, Thunder, and even Surf for damage. After one boost from Lightning Rod this Pokemon can deal a surprising amount of damage.
