This week, we are heading to Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Come with us to enjoy RV camping on beautiful Gulf Coast! Sun, white sand, Gulf breezes, and so much more. Of course, there is over two miles of white sand beach but also miles of trails, a fresh water lake, a pool and more! At the beach, the beautiful pavilion has a concession stand, picnic tables and bathrooms with showers. The white sand beach is perfect for relaxing, reading a book, fishing, and swimming. The Pier at Gulf State Park extends 725 feet into the Gulf with ample space on both sides for fishing. There is also a covered area with a restaurant/bar and a gift shop. The Pier is informational as well, with signgs posted share information on the fish, birds and other wildlife. There are fees for parking and fishing, so be sure to check their website for details. The swimming pool is just beautiful! Since the pool is only for use of campground guests, it never gets too crowded. There are plenty of chairs, a splash pad, bathrooms and concessions. There is a pergola which stretches across the pool and some of the seating area to give a break from the sun on very hot days. The campground also features tennis, horseshoe, and volleyball courts. The park has over 28 miles of trails, unpaved, paved and boardwalks suitbale for walking, running, or biking. There are many different ecosystems to view along the trails, from dunes, to lakes, to marshes and more. Join our large crazy family as we continue our epic RV adventures!
