Chloé Bourgeois is a major character-turned-antagonist in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, serving as the secondary antagonist of Season 1, the anti-heroic deuteragonist of Season 2, a major anti-hero turned final antagonist of Season 3, a major antagonist in Season 4, one of the three secondary antagonists (alongside Lila Rossi/Cerise Bianca and Tomoe Tsurugi) of Season 5, and a minor character in Season 6. She is a former student in Miss Bustier's class at Collège Françoise Dupont, a former resident of Paris and former interim Mayoress of Paris following her father's resignation, all until the end of "Revolution", when she was expelled from school and left Paris along with her mother for her many abuses of power. Gabriel Agreste (born Gabi Grassette) was the main antagonist of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, serving as the main antagonist of the first story arc and the posthumous overarching antagonist of the second story arc. With the Butterfly Miraculous, when inhabited by Nooroo, Gabriel transforms into Hawk Moth (Le Papillon in the French version, which translates to "The Butterfly"), who was the main villain of the television series. He wants Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses for himself in order to obtain absolute power and reshape reality to undo his and his wife's past mistakes. To achieve his goal, he uses the Butterfly Miraculous power: Akumatization. This allows him to create and controls the akumas, previously regular butterflies, who can transform normal people with negative emotions into supervillains. Marinette Dupain-Cheng is the primary protagonist of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. She is a student in Miss Bustier's class at Collège Françoise Dupont in Paris, France, and a budding fashion designer who wants to have her own brand one day. With the Ladybug Miraculous, when inhabited by Tikki, Marinette transforms into the superheroine Ladybug, gaining the power of creation to stop Hawk Moth and his akumatized villains. She is the leader of the French Miraculous superhero team. Adrien Agreste, better known as Cat Noir, is one of the two titular main protagonists (alongside Ladybug) of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He is a student at Collège Françoise Dupont and a fashion model. With his magical ring, inhabited by a Kwami named Plagg, he has the power of bad luck and can transform into the superhero Cat Noir (Chat Noir in the French version). In Season 3, he temporarily receives the Ladybug Miraculous from Tikki, which, when inhabited by her, can transform him into Mister Bug, a ladybug-themed superhero, and in "Desperada", he temporarily receives the Snake Miraculous from Ladybug, which, when inhabited by the Kwami Sass, can transform him into Aspik, a snake-themed superhero.
