Hello guys, As a large CNC machine manufacturer, PMSK produces the machine beds independently for quality control. Here I would like to introduce you to how we produce our machine beds. First, we source quality steel from the market. Then, we use advanced fiber laser cutting machine to cut metal sheets and tubes with high cutting precision and smooth cutting surface. We have Panasonic robot welding system from Japan, and the bed and beams are welded by robots. The robot welding system adopts the segmental welding method, which provides uniform weld seams, high welding quality and small welding deformation. As a result, the bed structure is sturdy, with strong load-bearing capacity and beautiful weld seams. One robotic welding system can weld more efficiently than 6 advanced welders and can operate 24 hours a day. Labor costs are greatly reduced while improving weld quality. Bogie type resistance furnace, mainly used for eliminating welding stress on machine bed and gantry. At present, we are the only factory with high standard heat treatment technology and equipment in the industry. This trolley type resistance furnace weighs about 100 tons, with automatic temperature control function, can complete 8 sets of bed and gantry heat treatment at one time. Each heat treatment takes more than 10 hours and consumes 4000 kwh of electricity. Annealing treatment can eliminate welding stress, improve the plasticity of the welding surface (the greater the plasticity, the less likely to be deformed), to ensure that the equipment is used for a long time without deformation, to maintain high precision. Annealing treatment can also improve the organization stability of the body steel itself. The internal structure of the bed & beam tends to stabilize after annealing. Shot peening is mainly applied to the anti-corrosion and descaling treatment of the machine body, which utilizes the high-speed movement of the projectile (60-110m/s) stream to continuously impact the surface of the strengthened workpiece, so as to remove the surface of the oxide skin and other impurities. The shot blasting machine introduced by our company can reach the grade of anticorrosion and rust removal above SA2.5. Shot peening has the following advantages: good rust removal effect, higher surface hardness of the bed, stronger paint adhesion, and more beautiful product appearance. Long-term use, the body of the machine does not rust, do not lose paint. After a few years, the equipment is wiped down, like new, with high value retention. The bed gantry's guide rails and rack mounting reference surfaces are precision milled with a CNC five-face milling machine, automatically drilled, and the bed is ultra-precise. Plastic spraying process is based on the principle of electrostatic adsorption, the powder coating is sprayed onto the surface of the workpiece, and then cured at high temperatures to form the final protective coating, firmly attached to the surface of the workpiece (Note: heated to 185 degrees Celsius, and heat preservation for 15 minutes). Plastic spraying has the following advantages: strong surface adhesion, not easy to fall off, not easy to rust, can protect the metal surface for a long time. The paint surface of the equipment is smooth and even, bright and neat, not easy to change color, good aesthetics.
