On the Beer Italia trip from the Uk to Italy with Pub2Pub Adventures and what a blast it was!!! Stelvio was possibly the highlight of the trip. Roads don't get much nicer than this. 00:00 Intro 01:20 Drive through the local town on route to the Stelvio Pass 03:45 Quick warm up blast 07:40 Tunnel Blast and flowing roads 11:10 Laurence in his Triumph TR5 joins the group and pushes on up the hillside for some fun 11:58 Open-sided tunnel leads into closed tunnel. Downshifts and accelerations. 12:15 Long flowing, riverside road 14:35 The start of the lower switch-backs with the TR5 close behind 16:15 Twitchy moment for the TR5 on the hairpin 16:45 Stunning mountain views 18:05 A cement truck of all things on such a narrow, twisty road! 18:43 Pushing on again into more switch-backs, now with the Corvette in close pursuit too 20:30 Probably half way up and things start to look really interesting 21:55 Full send.... well, within reason given the narrow roads and sheer drops 23:30 Fraser and Sam follow close in the Corvette (which is an immense 700bhp, fuel spitting monster! (but was currently in the process of data logging for tuning the map)) 24:35 Into the clouds with a lovely, fast, flowing bit of road 25:00 More switch-backs than you know what to do with! 26:25 Meeting a massive truck that felt wider than the road itself! 27:00 Back on it once again (and trying to take in the views at the same time) 28:43 Final send, what a road!
