This is a follow up to my "Why Chris Hogan Got Fired" video from this past weekend March 1tth. I talked about the limited details surrounding Chris Hogans termination from ramsey solutions and my thoughts on Dave Ramsey and Ramsey solutions actions surrounding Chris's termination. As I have done more research into the topic, specifically the wives side of the story, a federal law suit, and several blog posts from Melissa J. Hogan, I think it would be appropriate that I put a follow-up video, now having a clearer picture. Guys I have to say that just reading Melissa's account of the treatment she received from Ramsey solutions makes me incredibly uncomfortable. Now this is just one person's[Melissa's] account of the story, yet the story does seem consistent with news articles as well as other public information released around the federal lawsuit against ramsey solutions. Honestly, my heart hurts for Melissa J. Hogan and her family. She illustrates what many would call an abuse of power, lack of boundaries, hypocrisy, and clear overstepping of the role of an employer in my humble opinion. Melissa J. Hogan states the trouble started around 2018 after in her words, Chris Hogan had multiple affairs, including a woman who worked in the Ramsey Solutions company. This alone in my opinion is grounds for termination. However that is not what occured. Instead again by her accounts, the couple was put on a "restoration plan" which would allow Chris Hogan and his wife to reconcile and work on their marriage, allowing Chris Hogan to continue to operate as an integral member of the Ramsey Solutions team. Melissa illustrates that as part of this "restoration plan", a plan created by Dave Ramsey himself, Melissa and Chris would undergo marriage counseling and Therapy HOWEVER, they would HAVE TO waive all confidentiality of their proceedings and submit the intimate and personal details of their counseling to the Ramsey solutions team. Which in my opinion is a MAJOR abuse of power and overstep in the role of an employer. Not only this Dave Ramsey himself and team would speak publicly about the difficulty, and progression, of their marriage, and according to Mellissa, made false statements about those matters. When Melissa asked to speak to Dave Ramsey to discuss those matters, she describes being pulled into a room including Dave Ramsey, and 2 other board members. Melissa afraid, as Ramsey solutions provided most of their income and insurance which cared for their ill son who suffered from Hunters disease, felt unable to speak out against Ramsey Solutions. In addition to this Melissa Hogan describes under the "restoration plan" the Ramsey team tried to control and manipulate her and her husbands choices in healing and growing from the events of Chris Hogan's infidelity. Saying that if she didn't go along or agree to their suggestions that she was asked if she wanted her now ex-husband, Chris Hogan, to be fired. After all the passed Chris Hogan continued to be a prominent member of the Ramsey Solutions team... up until a federal lawsuit came to Ramsey Solutions regarding the alleged wrongful termination of a young woman who became pregnant, who ramsey solutions claims to have fired her for "premarital relations". So the quesiton that comes to mind is that "well, if her premarital relations were not okay, why was Chris's extra-marrital relations?" Why was this young womans sin deemed to be higher than that of Chris's? What do you guys think?
