If you really needed to, everything we list here, from Karnak Temple, to Luxor Temple, to the Valley of the Kings and Queen Hatshepsut Temple are all things to do in one day if you are aggressive with your schedule (but you'll need to start early). Depending on where you're staying, we'd head over to the Valley of the Kings and Queen Hatshepsut's temple first - catch a ferry for just a couple bucks across the Nile and see these awesome monuments before it gets too hot. After that, head back to Luxor proper and visit both Karnak and Luxor Temple. Choose one for that perfect golden hour sunset because the way the light bounces around the temples is truly magnificent.
