The Dovells "Can't Sit Down"...for long.

Mark Stevens and Jerry Gross are original members of The Dovells. While growing up in west Philadelphia, not too far from American Bandstand, these Overbrook High School students were grabbed by the gravitational pull of the Philly sound. They have been signing together since high school and have been on stage, on their feet, unable to sit down, continuously since the late 1950s. They are still telling us "You Can't Sit Down" as they force us teenagers to do The Bristol Stomp into the 21st Century. Tom listens to their history and then enjoys their performance on stage.
