Rocky Patel - Vintage 1990 in 5,1/2" x 50 Robusto is made with Nicaraguan and Dominican long-leaf filler and binder, with a 12 yr. aged Honduran broad-leaf wrapper. History: In the early 1990's, Rocky Patel was a lawyer in Las Angels where he found a new love for cigars thanks to a friend. He soon found himself in a partnership of the famed Grand Havana Club in L.A. After partaking in a few business adventures, he was approached with his biggest business opportunity yet... becoming a cigar manufacturer. Rocky was told "not to do it" and "you'll never make it". Witch just gave him the fuel needed to prove others wrong and go against the grain to do what they said can't be done. And with the cigar boom just about starting - his timing was perfect! With passion, drive and the willingness to risk it all. The Indian Tobac Cigar Co. was created. He took a new direction in the cigar industry, and saw that the industry needed a newer, younger company with ideas and better bold packaging. It gave the market a fresh face and energy. He is the guy who understands the importance of being involved in all aspects of the industry and company. Form farming, curing, marketing and selling. He has been involved in it all. but, the biggest thing he was exceptional with, was knowing your competition and learning from them to improve and develop a premium product at a lower price. In 2003 his Vintage series became his prime focus. From here he dropped the Indian Tobac Cigar Co. and stared producing cigars under the name "Rocky Patel". Committed to the highest quality standards and craftsmanship that is almost second to none. A bold move was also taken to reduce the amount of cigars produced each day. From around 500 cigars, to 250, to ensure the consistency of his product. He also knew the importance of the face behind the name of a company. Like others before him, he kept a very restless schedule. He has been in 600 cities in 750 days, and banks 300 plus days on the road and 150,000 miles. It is this type of commitment and drive that has been maintained over the years. His once "Boutique brand" has now earned the status of a "Premium Brand". And with an array of cigars under his name, it keeps myself and others wanting more! Thanks for watching! JJ [email protected]
