In Searching of Bruce Lee's Former Residence Oakland, California

Not long ago I just found out the address of the former Bruce Lee residence in Oakland, California and learned that it was actually situated in the neighbourhood where I used to live for five years during the early 80s without knowing it. It was a very interesting finding to me as a big fan of Bruce, so I took a special trip with my family to check it out while we were on the way to San Francisco during the July 4th long weekend. In fact, this was a rental house Bruce and his family rented it from his martial art friend James Lee who often worked out with Bruce in this garage and later became his assistant instructor for Bruce’s martial art classes. Interesting enough, I had also ran into Bruce’s old neigbour who was so talkative to share his memories of his world famous neighbor during the early 60s. He shared that back then during the summer time, Bruce would held at least two to three classes in a day teaching his martial art in his garage causing the neighbourhood parking congestion and making him a big headache to find a parking space when he got off from work. He was also kind enough making an effort trying to find his other neighbors who also know Bruce speaking with me, unfortunately they were all not at home at the time. Hopefully there will be a chance in the future we could make an early arrangement in ahead of time then. Ha ha… Awesome Bruce!
