My Top 750 Albums: 225. 36 Crazyfists - Bitterness The Star (2002) Their 3rd entry on the list and this was the debut album from Alaskan metal-core (and prob considered nu-metal at the time) 36 Crazyfists. A favourite for rock club DJs to this day, primarily with mis-heard lyrics favourite "Slip Wrist Theory". This and "Turns To Ashes" are equally epic with some very tasty riffs thrown in. As you can see from my chart the first half of the album is extremely strong. The 2nd half loses me a little though it's still enjoyable. If metal-core was more my thing then perhaps these would have also ranked higher.
