They generally work well as an afternoon/early evening activity when it’s a little less busy and you can hear your guide talk you through the beers. You’ll sample a range of styles from lighter beers such as pale ales, going up on the palette to IPA’s and Stouts/Porters. Tasting measures are usually a 1/3 or 1/2 and these differ in amount depending on the venue however guests usually always have a drink in their hand (unless they drink super fast), and we find it’s just the right of beer tastings for the time spent on the tour.
