The six-meter semi-integrated Sunlight T 58 is for sale from € 55,590. Sunlight has been marketed as a cheaper entry-level camper. This new camper is the model of the year 2021/2022. The Sunlight range starts with the 5.98 meter long T 58, which costs € 55,590. The semi-integrated is based on the Fiat Ducato with the original ladder chassis and a 2.3 multijet diesel engine. In the back right there is a longitudinal bed for two people. There is a small but acceptable garage for camping furniture under the bed, which narrows towards the foot end. A spacious bathroom has also found a place in the length. Further forward we find the kitchen area on the right and opposite a half dinette with two swivel seats in the driver's cabin. A pull-down bed is not built in, but if the dining table is lowered, a small sleeping place can be created. Within the limited interior space, there is still a good-sized kitchen in the motorhome and a double bed. The aisle is wide enough for two people. Because no partitions are built in, the semi-integral motorhome looks bigger. Despite the favorable basic price, the Sunlight T 58 is equipped with a robust sandwich roof made of glass fiber reinforced plastic. The back is also made of the same material. The sandwich walls are clad with aluminum and reinforced with timber framing in a conventional manner. A screen door in the side door keeps insects out while ventilating, an electrically extendable step simplifies entry. The wooden bottom (laminated board) is carefully impregnated, which ensures a long life of the bottom plate. Decorative strips and invisible metal push buttons, together with the beige-brown upholstery, give the interior a modern look. Sunlight has secured the furniture well in this t58. The edges of the furniture are finished with properly glued protective edges with solid hinges. The wall units, a total of three above the bed and one above the dinette, hold more than enough laundry. In addition, there is a small cupboard with a shelf, built transversely against the foot of the bed, and a wall cupboard placed above it. You can store your coats in the wardrobe of 145 x 45 x 45 centimeters that is placed between the toilet room and the kitchen. Camping furniture and large items of luggage find a place in the 217 x 92 x 106 centimeters garage under the bed, which can also be conveniently accessed from the inside thanks to the folding slatted base. Sleeping is done in the T 58 in the French bed placed directly against the rear wall. It measures 200 x 135 centimetres, but narrows towards the foot end to 115 centimetres. That leaves plenty of room in the aisle, but comes at the cost of the bed's width, which is quite limited. The sofa near the dinette is 99 centimeters wide. That's just enough for two people. With a seat depth of 47 centimeters, there is enough support for the thighs. In combination with the well-shaped cushions of the back, this improves seating comfort. Under the hob we find a 113-litre refrigerator with a 14-litre freezer compartment as well as a large base cabinet with integrated waste bin. The cooking smells can escape through a large window above the kitchenette. For the toilet ritual, the residents of the T 58 must be in the rear part. With 112 x 75/81 centimetres, the bathroom is quite generous in size. The access to the sanitary room is, however, on the narrow side at 45 centimeters. Sturdy campers have it a bit more difficult here. To save space, Sunlight equips the bathroom with a swiveling washbasin. It is large enough to wash your face or shave and can be swiveled over the permanently mounted toilet, above which hangs a practical mirror. Toiletries find a place in the cupboard on the wall of the bathroom. They do not fall out during a ride on a bumpy road. The living area is heated as standard by a Truma Combi 6 heating system based on warm air. The heat is evenly blown into the living area via five outlet openings. The on-board battery and electrical system are easily accessible under the front seats. Energy-efficient and durable LED spotlights illuminate the interior. There is no shortage of sockets. In total, the Sunlight has three 230 Volt sockets and two 12 Volt sockets as standard, as well as a USB socket for charging a smartphone or tablet. The compact entry-level camper offers two people a considerable degree of freedom of movement, but moderate sleeping comfort. The standard equipment is extensive and there is also sufficient storage space. In combination with the latest technology and modern furnishings, the T 58 has a balanced price-quality ratio.
