So guys, does you mind just stay busy at night? Thoughts jumping around and your brain refusing to slow down? Well, if that sounds familiar, ADHD or not, this soundscape was made to give you a gentler landing at the end of the day. ADHD Stillness is simply a calm space for your thoughts to soften and your body to wind down. People with ADHD (like some of my family members) often describe their minds as fast, layered, or hard to quiet, especially at bedtime. But many people without ADHD feel this way too. When the brain stays alert, overstimulated or full of noise, it becomes difficult to transition into the slow, steady rhythms needed for rest. So for this one, I wanted to create a soundscape that eases that internal busy-ness without overwhelming the senses, offering something soothing, predictable, and steady to follow. And here are the three elements I chose to build ADHD Stillness from: Soft Pink Rain for Neural Settling: Pink-spectrum rain that smooths sensory input and stabilizes brainwave activity. Helps ADHD minds reduce overstimulation and transition into calmer, more regulated states. Brown Noise with Theta Support: Low-frequency brown noise shaped with a gentle theta-like contour. Reduces ADHD hyperarousal by improving signal-to-noise processing and quieting internal cognitive chatter. Aquamarine Underwater Hum Cocoon: A warm mid–low underwater hum that dampens excess neural firing and masks intrusive thoughts. Supports ADHD relief by creating a consistent, low-demand sensory envelope. To put it all together, I headed into my little studio and started shaping each layer. I recorded and elongated soft rainfall for the pink rain texture, crafted the brown noise base from fabric scratching and rice shaking, and generated the underwater hum using hydrophone recordings and gentle tone sculpting. Then I blended, filtered, and balanced everything until the sound felt cosy, even, and genuinely helpful for a wandering mind. So, whether you have ADHD or just deal with a noisy brain at night, I hope this brings a sense of stillness and helps you drift into a deeper, calmer sleep. Sleep long and sleep well, my friends. MADE USING: Pink rain recordings, brown noise (fabric scratching + rice shaking), underwater hydrophone textures, ambient shaping, MIDI keyboard
