[7u][4k] Railfanning the Norfolk Southern Atlanta North End, Austell & Mableton, GA 01/09/2021

It was a chilly, cloudy day in Austell and Mableton, small towns located just east of Atlanta, GA. The conditions were far from optimal for railfanning and filming, but the north end rarely disappoints and, as expected, various interesting Norfolk Southern trains showed up. Amtrak 19 opens the show and BNSF Scherer coal empties NS 733 concludes it. In between are multiple manifests and intermodals, some of the latter containing colorful run-through power from Union Pacific and KCS. Don't miss the EMD SD40-2 duo working hard to get the intermodal transfer G88 from Whitaker Yard in Austell to Inman Yard in Atlanta. Enjoy!
