Blacklight problems - LED's went bad

Five years ago we got some cheap blacklights on amazon to light up the posters in the master bedroom. They have been on for most of that five years...which is I guess over 30,000 hours (closer to 40k+...which) the LED site I found a the end of the video said they should last. So maybe they did not do too bad for longevity. In any case this one finally died and I think it was due to age, and the leds failing. It could be due to the power board sending so much power, or maybe there is supposed to be that much power going to the LED strip...but I had not expected it to be sending over 140volts to there. Since the LED's failed, and I was able to buy another cheap set of lights, these are not worth trying to fix it, so these get recycled.
