Discovered a Flooded Homeless Camp While Kayaking

We kayaked the yakima river while the water was high, and a large part of land got flooded. We found a homeless camp that got abandoned during the flood and went and checked out the golf course. . We were there 2 days prior to this. we saw a man and women at the homeless camp and water was rising but not flooded yet. we gave them food and offered a way out on the kayaks. They refused. ( that footage is not uploaded but I can upload it. ) . I kept thinking of them so went back two days later. I found out after a rescue helped them out. Now she is denying we tried to help them. when I have the footage of it. Sad that people WANT to live like this instead of taking accountability and trying to be better. Let's not garbage up our local land and make things a mess. I'll be checking on this area often now. #crescent #perception
