Happy 4th of July! Crazy enough, I’m only posting this video today just to fit the theme at 5:47 haha. Seen here is the last Republic truck from the Conroe yard branded as Allied Waste, and extremely surprising that it’s functioning so well as a daily runner in 2022! These used to be super common in the Houston area, and state of Texas generally, but have since been distributed across the state, rebranded, or really just scrapped. This adventure was a real throwback for me because I used to see Allied Waste trucks on the regular in 2017 and prior, so I thought it’d be next to impossible seeing one in such great condition today. Everything from the early morning scenery to roar of this ‘09 Mack was pretty nostalgic to some of my older videos as well. Conroe is a super neat division with MRU 7000s and ex-Santek Waste units (because Republic bought them). You can see lots of neat cart variety too, pretty much anything ends up in an unincorporated part of town as shown. With Eliu the master behind the wheel, hope you guys enjoy one of my favorite videos of this year! Huge thanks to Eliu for letting me grab some footage that morning! Sorry it took so long to upload finally haha. To REPUBLIC SERVICES: Please do not use this video to correct any employees that may have falsely carried out rules and regulations in the workplace.
