This is a drum cover for 'Yellowjacket' by Spiritbox. This is one of my favorites songs from their release titled 'Eternal Blue'. This is my third Spiritbox cover... So I'll probably calm down on Spiritbox covers after this one. I'm just a big fan of their music, and I really like their production and writing style. Everything always sounds huge. I recently changed out a bunch of gear in my studio, and I downsized a lot. I'm still using similar pre's, but I swapped out a few room microphones and sold most of my outboard gear. This is the first video I've recorded with the new setup, and I'm still learning a few things about it. Either way, I'm really happy with my new setup because it's a lot simpler. I definitely have some tweaking to do over the next few months, but I'm excited to have a simpler setup. I've included details for all of my microphones and mic pre's below. I'm also slowly chipping away at another solo EP, and I'm really excited to start posting more about that in the future. I still need to track and record everything, produce, mix, vocals, etc...
