In this video I flew with Delta Air Lines on board their incredible Boeing 717-200 aircraft in economy right by the Engine from White Plains/Westchester County airport to Melbourne, FL via Atlanta international! I had a rather tight connection in Atlanta as my flight from White Plains was delayed there for an hour due to lack of staff available. With the delay it meant I only had a 20 min or so connection to make in Atlanta from Concourse C to D. Made it in about 10 minutes!! Overall both flights were comfy, all be it loud, crew were fantastic especially with my tight connection & where to go! Also props to the pilot letting me in the flight deck in Melbourne! The 2 flights cost me $158.20 (£123.09/€142.13/22428円) as part of a one way fare which was about $100 cheaper at the time of booking than flying out of JFK/LGA/EWR. White plains was pretty easy to get to and not much more of a hassle than LGA (or at least what I've heard). I'd for sure recommend flying into White Plains if you go to New York. Departing is a bit cramped due to the small terminal. I chose these flights mainly because I wanted to get the Melbourne flight to make sure I'd be flying on a 717!
