A journalist covering the war in Ukraine was shot and wounded after coming under fire in Kyiv. Stuart Ramsay and four colleagues were driving back to Kiev when they were ambushed. The team left the car and hid inside a factory building before being rescued by Ukrainian police. "Ramsay recalls an explosion, the car coming to a stop, and rounds of bullets smashing into the car." "He said that they knew they had to get out to survive, but the incoming fire was intense."
