Hey everyone! This is part one of restoring the old Collins splitting axe I found at a garage sale last week. In this part, I'm going to be removing the head of this axe and cleaning it up. Since the back of the head was mushroomed over, i decided to grind and sand it flush. I'm happy with how it turned out, especially for my first axe restoration. Thanks for watching and enjoy!
