Welcome to today’s video on PERCENTS. These questions are actually really simple, but they get tricky as SAT puts two different types. You must know how to differentiate them in order to get them right. In this video, we will go over four things: 1. What they LOOK LIKE 1. The questions will often have percent mentioned somewhere in the question. If so, there’s a high chance that it’s going to be a percent question 2. TWO different types 1. Finding 20% OF SOMETHING vs 20% LESS/MORE of something - Although they sound similar, they are not the same. 3. What to KNOW about percents 1. Visualizing the scenario and how to find certain percent of something. 4. How to SOLVE them 1. Identify which type it is by visualizing and set up an equation to solve.
