Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Playthrough, Pt.1

My 2nd favorite game on the Nintendo Wii (no, my favorite is not the first Galaxy). I haven't played through this game in over 2 years, so it may be tough trying to remember everything. Some galaxies have hidden stars that are pretty obscure. The main selling point of this game was how you can ride Yoshi (which is pretty cool). Another difference is the comet medals you have to collect in every galaxy. The comet for that galaxy won't appear unless you've collected the medal for it. I'll be showing the locations of all of these (since this is a 100% run). The prologue for this game is a good introduction of things to come, as this game has quite a bit of 2D sections (another selling point). The story honestly doesn't need to be restated (c'mon it's a Mario game). Sky Station Galaxy is a good start to a great game. This game starts you off with a boss right away like the first game (thankfully he's very easy). Also the main hub for this game is much friendlier than the observatory from SMG. The observatory is probably better because there's much more to explore, but I like how some of the characters and enemies you meet throughout the game will stay on the Mario ship. I don't think any of them offer up valuable tips though. The comets will start showing up after 30 stars. I'm still collecting all the medals along the way to 30 stars. Hope you guys enjoy the playthrough, it's gonna be a very long one. I can expect this to go over 100 parts.
