ESD of a LST-NG tumor at the splenic flexure using HYBRIDknife® flex I-Type
An endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) of a LST-NG tumor at the splenic flexure is performed by Prof. A. Repici using the VIO® 3 Gastroenterology Workstation with HYBRIDknife® flex I-Type. This monopolar knife is tailored for precise application in challenging thin-walled anatomy, especially colorectal lesions. The submucosa is prepared with a needle-free, high-pressure waterjet provided the ERBEJET® 2. The energy for electrosurgical cutting and coagulation is delivered by the VIO® 3 generator using the endoCUT® I, preciseSECT and swiftCOAG® modes. The ESD is temporarily performed underwater.
